How old is the G55.

Any chance of pictures of it.

Is it collect only because you have no box.

Give me a few days on the pictures. I've a macro lens in the post which should make taking good pictures easier.

Other then those scratches it looks like a black G55, except with little squares of insulating tape over the blue LEDs. It was bought March 2007 from Unilet.

Collection only partly due to lack of box, partly for the expense. It will cost a decent amount to send, guessing £40-50, but I'd have to see.

The other aspect is these transactions are often easier for everyone to do in person, in cash. You can see the amp exists and it works and I definitely get the money. It's a big leap of faith for you to bank transfer me a grand and hope an amp turns up.

Thanks for that info. I simply can't collect. Despite a world recession it seems there are still waiting lists for even humble cars so no transport until March.

Drop and bump:
G68J: £950
G55: £850

Pictures here.

I've looked into delivery costs and it is really expensive, about £60 a piece. Mostly for the insurance costs.

Please can you advise if this G68 is in very good condition, no scratches, marks, dents etc. and if this would go with the G98DVD player.

Also do you have original packaging to send by courier?

Many Thanks,
Ron Griffiths

Hi Ron,

I think most of your questions are answered in the first post of this thread.

The G68 would make a fine addition to G98DVD player; in fact Meridian would argue they were made for each other.
What are you using currently?

Regards,
Carl

Hi Carl,

Presently G98 and 598 DVD's, processor 568.2 562v3, pre amp, 504 tuner, 4x DSP5000, DSP5000C, Samsung TV, PVR.

I have 596 but the item stopped working, I have feeling it's the power switch, not sure if you can get it repaired. I was actually wanting to use the G68 with G98 and keep the 568/562/504 for upstairs use, but not sure what to do. All this is very new to me, only recently learning about computers, so bear with me.

Do you have the black G68 for sale, how much,? you can e-mail me if you want, give your tel no if this is allowed, I will ring you, only if this is alllowed.

Many Thanks, Ron Griffiths

Ron, the condition of the G68 is described in the first post of the thread. As for the G98, it was designed to be used with the G68. Just make sure it is a G98DH and not the analogue output AH version.

Many thanks for advising of G98 being DH version,I have checked and it is DH model. How does one go about purchasing the G68 processor, if it is still for sale. I'm a little confused, as this is very new to me, any guidance greatly appreciated?

Many Thanks Ron Griffiths

Hi Ron, just send a PM (Private Message) to the thread starter. Click on the CBunny link at the left hand side of one of CBunny's posts and select "Send a PM". You can access your PMs via the "My Stuff" link near the top of the page and, when you get a PM, a flashing mail icon will (should) appear next to the "My Stuff" link.
