LOL, spoke too soon. Had to reboot the MD600 today and have now just found doubles. C10 is still fine but iPad isn't.

Does C10 have an 'explorer' view? If so, look at that to see if doubles are there.
Or check in album listing of debug screen

Doubled up in Explore view and in the album listing from debug. Not doubled up in the C10 main view within an album.

12 of each in explore view. Long time since I rebooted. How many do I need before M fix this problem?

Other curious thing is that I had to delete an album that was doubled, and one of the copies was removed. The second remained, both on ControlPC and iPad, but only as a 'shell'. Clicking/touching it did nothing, there were no songs associated anymore with the second copy. A reboot of MD600 got rid of the 'shell' but very strange.

Can I have a bet?
I bet they are on your iPad. Just look in the explore screen that you get to from the bottom of the iPad app.

Just to add to the chorus... Up to this point I hadn't had the doubling problem. I mostly use Control:PC for system control and the few times I used my iPad, it was with the old Sooloos app. Yesterday I decided to use the new app Core Control to stream a few albums. Today I have doubles. Since I don't have that many albums, I was able to confirm that all of them have doubled.
Using a MC200 for core, store and play along with a MS600 and MS200 for play. iPad on IOS 6.0.1.

Hello
I resisted the urge to update but bought an iPad Mini and had to update or it wouldn't work.
All albums immediately doubled on Control:PC, Control:WEB and Explore on the iPad.
Somewhat disappointing that this cannot be resolved quickly.

Hi
And they just keep on coming. They breed like germs. Spawn of s***n. It is so boring.
One wonders if they have rewrite the entire code for all M gear to fix this. Or make voodoo or something else that makes no sense.
One could feel a bit more happy if M where talking to us or responding in some way. Why not use FB, or publish some status on the progress. But that is probably not in there line of no communication to the masses.
But i guess they are doing as good as they can at M. But it is still annoying.
Annoyed but happy regards to all you out there.

Have you asked your dealer about the issue? Meridian rarely comment on this forum as it is not their official line of communication.
Meridian do have a line of communication to the masses - it's your dealer so it is them who should provide the updates to any issues that you have raised with them. If you have not raised the issue with them, then don't expect any update.

M have NO line of communication, with anyone. The only bits we get are if M is ASKED by a dealer. Even then the mixed messages are sloppy and unprofessional. Communication means open and forthcoming, both of which M are diffidently not.
This doubling issue has gone on for MONTHS and no "communication" has come from M regarding the why and resolution of this issue. Its not like one user has the problem, its like everyone has it. They treat their customers like they are 3 year old children, don't ask because we're not answering you; go talk to your grandmother, er dealer because we can't be bothered, but she (they) can't answer because we haven't told them anything! Ha Ha.

Looks like an old problem has returned. I've reported it to Meridian and am awaiting some feedback, probably Monday now. Meridian have replicated the problem, and now are testing a fix. Assuming all goes well with the tests this will be included in the next firmware revision. I'm afraid I can't say when this will be. In case you missed it earlier in the thread.
