Rick, is there any news about why I can't type the IP address in on iPad and edit anymore? The Sooloos page is empty of data or just keeps re loading. It used to work before the latest update. Cheers, Chris
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone
Yes, iOS6 doesn't work. iOS5 was fine. Something needs sorting here. Chris

I haven't upgraded to OS6 and recently started seeing doubles. This is not critical but it is annoying as hell and not what one should expect from a premium product like M.
I believe I just confirmed the cause of the duplicates. As I said in my previous post on page 7 of this thread this problem is related to the daily check that Meridian does and multitasking.
First I confirmed my daily check from Meridian happens at about 9:20 pm. Next I made sure my Sooloos system was not doing anything (no playing/editing/loading) at 9:20 for several days in a row. During this time I did not get any duplicate titles. Today I was playing an album at 9:20. At 9:00 I had no duplicates, at 9:30 the duplicates were there.
I think with the old software the duplicates would only show up if you were editing or loading when the "Meridian check" happened, with the new software the duplicates will show up just by playing a song when he "Meridian check" happens. This will explain why the duplicates are much more frequent since the last software update.
So much music, so little time. Sooloos Control:10, TwinStore (4TB) McIntosh MDA1000, 60th Anniversary C22 & MC75s B&W Signature Diamond
I now have a total 12 covers on one of my albums. Wonder if there is maximum number for many albums you can have by this artist? This number would be fairly large anyway. I haven't noticed any performance degradation on my system even if haven't rebooted it since the beginning of this tread.
I haven't added any albums since last reboot. But today I will add some albums.
But it would be nice if Meridian fixed it.
Happy listening.
Best regards, Per Nilsson, Sweden

Looks like an old problem has returned. I've reported it to Meridian and am awaiting some feedback, probably Monday now.
Meridian have replicated the problem, and now are testing a fix. Assuming all goes well with the tests this will be included in the next firmware revision.
I'm afraid I can't say when this will be.
Cheers, Rick
I'm quite pleased that Meridian are now responding to customer feedback on issues. Compare the response to Sooloos problems with what happened in the past with, for example, the Trifield width issue on legacy equipment.

Good spot! I think you have it
Is there any way to cancel the M check?
Its really getting tired to have to reboot the C10 every day!
The only way I know of is to make sure your Sooloos is not connected to the Internet. With the Internet off I get no duplicates.
Thanks for that tip. I was concerned about the backup as, having deleted even more albums + done heaps of editing I need another complete backup and was hesitating about doing one with this problem likely to occur during it.
The BU will take several days but I'll do it on the Notebook in the other room but disconnect that setup & Sooloos from the net while still having internet connection on this PC.
