Well, I've 'bottled out' once and opted for a Naim Superuniti, fed by a Vortexbox. I have to say that path has been pretty much trouble-free and easy to set up and run. I can control using a pretty decent iPad/iPhone app or a remote.

I'm kind of now at the same point again, as I want to bring streaming into another room. I can stick a Naim Unitiqute in there and have no learning curve at all. I know it will simply work and sound good enough. Or, I can move the Superuniti in there (though it is really rather too good for the job) and look at developing Sooloos in my proper listening room.

This kind of problem (and others in threads I read that I basically just don't understand) make Sooloos seem like a very 'high maintenance' solution. Plus, of course, that it's a closed system that I'm then tied into.

Not wanting to derail this thread, by the way, but it just seems an opportune point to voice my fears.
