I am using the G68 module with 2 way communication and displaying on a touchpannel

It is a while ago but my problem was also random and cycling power on the 861 fixed it although some times I needed to cycle both.

I picked up the problem when I connected a breakout box with LED's and with this in circuit it would not work at all.

My guess is that you have a faulty serial port, either on the Crestron or the 861.
