But thanks!
I wonder if anyone has reported this to a dealer?

Well what do you know... I just went into webclient http://x.x.x.x/webclient/WebClient.html instead of via ControlMac and the edit fields show perfectly, even with Safari and on iPad. There seemed to be some crossed lines earlier with some people not having the issue. Now it makes sense. ControlMac is broken, webclient is not. Not sure what functionality is missing over ControlMac, but it seems to be identical. I didn't realise that you could edit stuff with web client, but it seems that you can.

Now when I try and add or edit anything in Control:Mac all the input fields are black. I've tried rebooting the MC200 and the TwinStore, but to no avail. Any thoughts? Some feedback from Meridian: This is an issue that R&D have traced back to the latest version Webkit that Apple have released. The development team have been advised that Apple are working to resolve this issue with this application. So looks like it's down to Apple to sort. Cheers, Rick

When people asked for their Sooloos in Black I'm not sure that this is quite what they meant... Let's hope Apple can sort this out quickly.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.
Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

I don't know how long it will take Apple to fix the problem but is it worth asking Meridian for an interim patch to work around the issue? Coding wise, It really is a simple fix to resolve. One line (forcing background to white) to be added to each of 3 elements (gwt-SuggestBox, gwt-TextBox and gwt-TextArea) in the standard css file. Control:Web on Safari allows you to override css files as shown below, but we need Meridian to patch the css file on the server so it can be picked up with Control:Mac ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/medium/456.jpg) Image shows Control:Web running on Safari browser with css override of affected elements (in test colours). The fix appears to resolve all issues, including reviews, tags etc. and I see no side effect.

Looks like the official Apple fix might be out with 10.7.5 update (and presumably other OS equivalents) Address an issue that could cause text input fields to appear black in some applications Obviously work around released with last Sooloos release too.
