Hi Rick, Do you have a Spec Sheet as yet? Also, can you confirm that RE and Apodizing are part of the Spec? It would seem so from the Press Release, but not definitive. Thanks

Their description needs correcting.
Plug an ethernet cable into it and it'll output to Meridian DSP speakers via wireless Cat5 SpeakerLink.

Got to love this bit from Home Theater!

That would be Cat5W, wouldn't it?

Off M recommendation I know, but it would be an interesting experiment to try an MS200 with a (wireless) wifi bridge dongle.
Main: 861v8, 818v3, 8000XE, 7200HCUSE, 7200.2, Roon Nucleus+, Shunyata Everest w/ Sigma XC and Alpha NR's, HD621, Oppo 103D, Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma. RJ45 switch on master SpeakerLink lines to select 861 or 818, Etherregen & ENO AG feeding the 818, M-Links. Room #2: 5200.2s from M218.

No it wouldn't IMHO
you could get audio drop outs with no quality improvement. I have never had success with wireless music on squeezebox, just frustration.
Wired has been trouble free, it just works.
My thoughts, Chris

I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

For those of us without either DSP's or any other Sooloos device. Can this be used as a direct replacement for a Squeezebox, and that is capable of accessing content from a ReadyNAS?

Hi Spinaltap No, it is a Sooloos endpoint just like an MS600, only smaller, it still needs a core and a store to function, for example put it with an MC200 and you have a two zone system, and I saw Rick at Audio Images had some original MC200's available at a discount price and was proposing this very idea. No, You need a Sooloos Store and Core. The minimum spend is the Media Core 200 and the iPad application. Well, along with a MS200.
