What am I doing wrong???

- Connected to the DVD controller
- Changed to COM1, 9600,8, none, 1, none
- Marked the Send line... and Echo... under ASCII sending
- Pushed open
- Entered %%, %p constable, %z 1f, %w, and then disconnected

I do not get any response from eather the Hyperterminal or my 800. I should get a warning after %%, shouldnt I? Does the 800 say anything when connected?
