very nice, but you have to remove the table when you listen(not the wine glass)
The table makes reflections that disturb your soundfield-moving the placement of the artist on the stage.
Try it out- its done fast.

Thanks ppl for you kind remarks! It indeed is a pair of 7200's and the cabinet holds a 808.3 (and an Oppo DVD player)

Thanks Robert, I will try it. As a matter of fact we plan to get another cabinet for the CD- and DVD- player and want to get rid of the table as well but we need to find another place to store the remote control(s) and tv-program guide.

But I will certainly try your suggestion, it may expedite us getting rid of the table ;-D

It's a great picture ok. The watch makes it a bit too stylised for my tastes, but really nicely lit & exposed.
And I thought they were 8000s at first too!!

Great shot! I thought they were 8ks too and then I thought about how huge they would look if they were 8ks. Love the Marillion disc too.

That's an Ikea "Lack" table...I have one in black. I didn't think it was rated anywhere near the weight bearing load needed for a 55kC though...

Yup, �40 stand from Ikea, very solid can't think of many TV stands out there which would support the 5500.2HC but this is working a treat.

So a DSP5500HC at 81kg plus the other equipment on the rack... I hope it is all insured
