I never had any problems at all with my iTunes "synch" -- set to export the .MP3 version to the Repository for all tracks -- until I recently upgraded my main working computer at home. Rather than try to move the iTunes library over. in retrospect probably a big mistake, I thought I'd start "fresh." Nothing has synched properly ever since. I won't bore people with all of the weird things I've seen and tried to "fix" things, but I'd love some suggestions as to how to set things right again.
My latest round of actions:
--clean install of iTunes, make sure it is working right, and that there's nothing in the iTunes library and there's no .sooloossycndata file (not the exact filename probably, but I don't have that computer in front of me for reference).
--confirmed with /debug that I've got a set of matching .MP3 files associated with each album, as per my settings for "export" in control
--deleted the existing iTunes export setting
--rebooted TwinStores and C15
--set up a new iTunes export with the "All tracks" checked
--checked edit details on the new synch--initially it was reading correctly, as in showing "Top 30 of 7712 tracks" and it began the export process
--I could verify from iTunes library and Explorer that the export had started working
--It seemed to be working extremely slowly, but labored on a for a few hours. But after exporting a dozen or so albums' worth of tracks, it just stopped.
Now it acts as though there are no more tracks to export. The 'Scan for Problems' comes up showing no problems, but it has only exported 1% of the existing .MP3 files (which I can see in /debug in the directories).
Any suggestions as to how to "force" a clean start or reindex or whatever is needed would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
