Cheers Tintin
Power supplies, power conditioners, and power cables are definitely not snake oil. It comes down to accuracy. Power conditioners and power cables help to reject AC line noise from the outside world. Power supplies are the main contributors to noise and jitter from within the box. The theory is that: 1) less noise and ripple provide more accurate voltage levels, and 2) faster response times provide more accurate timing. Accurate voltage levels and accurate timing are essential for accurate sound reproduction.

Having said this, good power doesn't need to cost a bundle.

Hi guys have a G68XXV that is very slow to start after cold etc. I'm thinking it's power supply time, anyone able to make a linear one in external box like Mr Lee but a bit closer to Sheffield UK?

If this is not possible is a beefier normal type worth considering internal or external.

After many years into the G68 PSU upgrade, are there any issues or are you still happy with it?
