There is a preview thread that implies not this week, and probably not next week.

I REALLY hope you're wrong. If so, that would be a MAJOR bummer.

Certainly seems like it is 'close'. I guess it is in the Apple approval process - no idea how long that takes. Perhaps last week of Feb?

Seeing as the Cover Art Sizes were being covered in two other Threads, I said I would post these images here (again likely for Anoraks only ) As stated earlier, Sooloos stores the Cover Art in the Album Folder as a "Cover.jpg" file In addition, Sooloos also automatically CREATES ReSize JPG Files on the FIRST Import of that Album into Sooloos.........these ReSize Files are NOT changed later on as you modify the Main Cover.jpg file above........there appears to be no way to modify them subsequent to the First Import only Sooloos ReSizes the above Cover to 170, 256 and 512 Pixel Sizes.......and it does this whether the Cover at First Import is 1200 by 1200 or the Sooloos Default of 170 by 170 (sometimes 200 by 200) Below is a comparison of the Same Album Cover......3 Pairs.......the difference is that the First Image in each pair is a Sooloos ReSize of a 200 Pixel Cover......while the 2nd Image is a Sooloos ReSize of a 900 Pixel Cover The First Pair is the 512 Pixel Size........the 2nd Pair is 256 Pixels.....and the 3rd 170 Pixel People can decide for themselves which is better...... The 512 Pixel Pair The 256 Pixel Pair The 170 Pixel Pair ![[Linked Image from i943.photobucket.com]](http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad278/RHGIlroy/Cover%20Art%20Comparison/coverimg900resize170.jpg)

Ronnie,
I just got an MC200 and have started importing CD's as a test only using Control:Mac. From what you have posted it looks like I need to have my hi-res (or higher-res) album art ready to go before agreeing that Sooloos has the correct data about the CD in question.
Is the idea that I will review the meta-deta, swap out the album art for a higher resolution version, and then import the CD?
I'm just confirming because I don't want to have to repeat the process again.
Thanks,
Jim

For the reasons stated above, I always ensure that I have a High Res Artwork version available when I First Import or Rip an Album into Sooloos
It's the only way to ensure that the 170, 256 and 512 Cover ReSize Files are ReSizes of 1000+ Pixel Artwork..........rather than ReSizes of e.g. 170 Pixel Artwork
The above Image Pairs shows the results of the First Import occurring with a Low Res and High Res Cover versions
Changing the CoverArt AFTER the 1st Import does NOT change the ReSize files in any way whatsoever
