Also , is it just me or has this delay not fatally limited the potential success of the recent ' Trade up to Sooloos' campaign ???? Surely a slickly functioning App would help motivate any ' fence-sitters ' to go for it ?? An MC200 and iPad1/2/3 is highly attractive if available .

I think the MS600 is a highly underrecognized product that makes this statement incorrect.

I see the MS600 as simply a Meridian quality implementation of the Source:One. Is it better than the previous unit? Absolutely. However, I don't see it as some substantial new offering that wasn't previously present in the Sooloos lineup pre-Meridian. We're free to disagree on this point, of course, but that's my view.

So perhaps Meridian didn't give a date certain and our complaint is that we think they did. How often do you put a lot of trust in the date of a future software release anyway? I'm hoping they get the bugs out before release and guessing that's the holdup now. Their CES development priorites were M6 and 818 before the revised app. Can't take issue with that. JMO.

I think Meridian has had alot on its plate recently; new products, firmware, car stuff etc.

I am thankful/excited that the new app is comming......we should give Meridian time and be thankful for the new firmware and iPad app IMHO.

Hi Guys,

I have had notification that there will be a new Sooloos firmware push starting next Monday 6th February.

This is to be ready for integration with the imminent updated iPad application and also some new features in ControlPC / ControlPC.

We definitely disagree as it is for all intents and purposes an ID40 in it's own box that can be added to any processor. A huge improvement IMHO as it separates the noisy conputer control from the conversion as the Id40 does.

Sooloos Build 368 will bring the following updates to Control:PC and Control MAC:

* The ability to view storage status

* Management of export format settings

* The option to transfer play queues between zones

* The option to delete all albums within a collection or albums identified by one or more tags

* Pickup remote support

* The option to view installation information
