Free speech is one thing but Liability for abbetting a breach of copyright is another.
In the UK right now a youth who set up a web site in his bedroom at home, that allowed for the free viewing of copyright material has lost his court case against extradition to the USA.
He copied nothing but facilitated others to do so. (Scary)
In light of this I understand that there has to be rules and it is up to moderators to set them. It is not fair to let them take risks for us.
We all get this great discussion forum for free and I hope appreciate it. The facts are, we cant have everything however much we may feel that we should.
