For my personal taste the product presentations is to much marketing loaded.
I think they negativity is aimed more at the price point?

If they had a couple of coaxial and optical inputs and a display I think the 4500 price point would make more sense.

I think they will sound great though, just not 4500 great.
But then lifestyle products always command a premium, look at what B&O charge and they sound no where near as good.

I never thought the M80 was worth 1500, but have to say that it is the one system I would happily go out and buy again tomorrow if mine went wrong.

Will the Reviver make these useable by owners without SL Processors?

Is the Comms compatible?

Thoughts, Chris smile

It is. I thought tweeters were best at around seated head level but I expect a few inches lower is not going to make a lot of difference

Main system - Sources (Kodi-HTPC, Vero 4k, FireTV, Sat) into Trinnov Altitude 32 (8-16) (+Roon), Trinnov Amplitude 8 amp & Vivid Audio (Giya G3, V1.5) and REL Stentor III speakers. Others: F80 + Raspberry Pi and other Pi systems.

When I listened to the M6's at CES they were as shown in the above video. And I was seated about 10 feet from the center point of the speakers. As I said in an earlier post the conditions were not adequate for a review (too much noise). I must say for such a small speaker the bass was fine. Well, I would say the bass was better than fine and I was surprised at how good it was. I am generally not favorably disposed to floor standing speakers that are this short and thus my original post is tainted by preexisting bias. A couple of quick impressions were that the sound was very "open" and brighter than I am used to for M speakers. I liked the concept, just wish they were a foot or so taller.

Regards,
Gary

SWMBO commented that small is beautifull when it comes to speakers.
If they pack a punch (and I have no reason to believe they wont) they will go down great as the WAF is very high.
Also in the UK small houses and apartments need all the space saving they can get.
Thoughts Chris smile

P.S. I expect some DSP may well compensate for the Low (compared to tradition) Tweeters.

Looks much better on video, than in the photos.

Has there been a USA price announcement? The press release #s make no sense because 4,500 pounds (including 20% VAT) should put these at about $6,000 here in the USA, not the $9,000 I've seen

598, 504, 562V, DSP5000 and some 3rd party stuff.
