Give them green speaker cloth and you can pretend they're topiary.

I have found a great image of an almost identical electronic device, but much smaller - fits in a lady's handbag. But in order not to offend sensibilities I shall refrain from posting it.

Like alot of things, I bet they look better in the flesh. Also a listen would be a good idea, if they sound right, surly alot of looks could be easily forgiven.
"Form and function", and all that.

Cheers Chris smile

Yes, let's wait and see.

If I ever went down the DSP speaker route, I'd definately consider them for the rear speakers

Certainly, it could look much better in person but at first glance, that's what struck me. I think if the base hadn't been such a departure form the rest than I might have thought differently. Of course, that part was probably an intentional acoustical element - perhaps the port opening for a down firing bass driver?

Nic, was thinking exactly the same. Do you think they take 4xAA or 4xAAA batteries wink

Presumably, you'll be getting one for "Her Indoors Den".

You asked for that. smile
