My G68ADV did almost the exact same thing about a year ago. The broadband noise bursts blew one of my speakers. frown

My dealer sent the G68 to Meridian US, and they replaced the power supply. The original power supply was from Universal Microelectronics. The replacement was from XP Power. The XP power supply was a significant step down in sound quality, IMO. And the repair from Meridian was expensive. Very.

I ended up removing the XP power supply and hired a modder to create a custom power supply, which I am very happy with. There is a recent custom power supply thread you may want to read before sending your unit back to Meridian.
