I don't think we have blue LED's, I think it is just the way it has been lit. I think it is small and made possibly from a resin similar to F80 et.al. The process would be dough moulding and possibly produced by a UK company, well I hope so!

Regards I

Wishful thinking. That is no lighting effect.

Aren't there publicity photos of the HD621 with all (blue) lights on: a state that would never happen in real life? Maybe the light isn't on all the time?...

What a funny discussion! Why can't we just wait? wink

Agreed, no LED's on this one. Just photographers/graphic artists earning their pay.

I think the end result will look similar to the Arcam RCube, with SpeakerLink Connectivity and hopefully Digital inputs.

Best!

I have been told by two different dealers in the last 60 days that a new G series processor was scheduled to be announced at the end of this year. They had no other information about features or prices. They guessed that it would likely be at CES in January 2012. One thought was the new processor would offer discrete 7.1 channel input when connected to a HD621. It would be nice if they offered height channels also, but I doubt that will happen.

I don't think they'll make headphones, since their products don't typically have headphone jacks.

the only thing I could see them coming out with is a M80 replacement, which has been talked about.

I believe you, but where does it say that?

After a little thought. An M80 replacement either with or without drive, since they haven't adopted Bluray, they will either put in Bluray, or take out the drive altogether and do some other updates to the M80 concept, just in a different case with some other electronics, like maybe adding up scaling from 720 to 1080 video using the Marvell chipset which they have been playing around with.

Apple has already mentioned they'll be removing DVD drives from their laptops, so maybe Meridian will do the same with a transportable unit.

Maybe they'll add dual zone to a M80 replacement. One main and a remote unit with wireless audio.
