Do you anticipate the same problems with track metadata as you get with Sooloos?

The Naim gear that has a front-panel display is clearly geared towards pop-music only, which leads me to suspect it will be just as problematic. I'm keen to hear comments either way on that.

I have a Naim NS-01, which has no read out and I use an iPad, iTouch, etc. With the iPad, there is no issue, at least for me. That said, it works best when you rip the music via a Naim transport.

Very very fast though! You only need a small one, for the OS, file storage would be elsewhere (NAS).

When you say "no issue" do you mean no issue with track metadata - do you have separate composer and artist (and other) fields for each track? Or just that you like what it does?

This should help http://www.naimnet.com/node/96
The one pitfall is that you must rip your music via the Naim system, at least as far as I am aware.
So that could be an issue.

"It is actually easier to find your music on a NaimNet Music Server than it is to find the music within a shelf full of CDs."

Not much of a boast? I suppose it depends how long your shelf is...

And if like me you have nerdishly catalogued them into alphabetical order...
