My firmware is upgraded on my V6 and I do not notice any difference with my analog setup. If there is it is slight.

Not being able to go back to the previous version means that I am trusting my memory though.

Just to be sure I have the latest firmware version , my v6 displays 6.03.

Direct should now be 3dB louder if they did what I think they did.

The only proper way to compare is config system for just 2 speakers then compare Trifield with meter playing pink noise.
