Missed the speakers, but - interestingly it did take me out of the story momentarily as I thought - oh, isn't that the house in Highgate Cemetery with the glass front? I remembered seeing the house before in an item about its Meridian home theatre set up.

Must be a subliminal tie in between Karl Marx and the FSB! Old Cold War attitudes die hard.
