They do indeed look like reincarnated DSP33s! Good find on the photo, thanks.

Cheers

A display would be nice to have but very difficult when it's meant for Horizontal and Vertical applications..........still better with a display though IMHO.

For that, and other reasons, I prefer the look of the D3100s, especially the larger Horizontal version, just a better looking speaker IMHO.

Googling on DSP3300 I found that Philips also has the DSP3300 (a home cinema set). I wonder if they mind....

It's interesting that the HD621 will be able to be updated to handle 3D via firmware. I asked that question to three different M employees over the past 9 months with all of them saying it couldn't and would have to be new hardware to accomplish it. Hope it is true.

Very Revox-like, don't you think?

Lol - With some manufacturers news of an update via firmware would be welcome news. Given M's track record of delivering on their firmware update promises this doesn't really mean anything.

Personally I'll assume it isn't going to be updated until the firmware is actually released and tested by third parties.

Yes, it is an "acoustically sealed enclosure", very much like the DSP33.

"DSW" can't be the whole model name, can it? Before they were DSP1500/DSP2500 and SW1600/SW5500. Meridian once called the SW1600 the DSW1600 in a manual, presumably in error.

So I guess it will be DSWxxxx.

Hi Nic,

I would presume so.
I had wondered how long it would be before M lauched SpeakerLink subs.

Regards,
Carl
