I thought the C10s / C15s were ripping solutions, whereas the others were not? It will be a painless and reliable ripping solution that eventually gets my money. Ripping CDs using ContolPC/ControlMAC is very easy. Regards, Carl

With a little luck, the new Sooloos iPad (and PC) App will be in the same "Art Driven" ballpark as the new Kaleidoscope App in the link below........quite slick and User Friendly See the Video at the bottom of the linked page Kaleidiscape iPad App Video

I didn't see it reported elsewhere, but there will be a firmware upgrade to the HD621 coming in December which will enable 3D capability. Here's a photo of the Media Drive 600 media storage unit ($5000) which is the replacement for the TwinStore. ![[Linked Image from ultrahighendforum.com]](http://www.ultrahighendforum.com/uploads/images/meridian_md600.jpg)

Here's a photo of the Media Drive 600 media storage unit ($5000) which is the replacement for the TwinStore. Please remind me again why this is more interesting than connecting a standard 2TB USB external drive (around 70 or $100) to my router?

$5000!!!!!!!!!! for 2TB (ok 4).
I assumed the expensive bit in the MC600 was the 6 zones but it looks like it's the disk drives.

Chris That's very funny but Meridian's CFO has probably won the argument that there simply isn't enough profit to just sell the CD players and the cards and the Control workstations, and in order to make decent profit, must charge outrageous sums for the storage. People that pay up at this level also expect exemplary service and transparent communication, two very big issues that I have come across in my enthusiastic adoption of M/S technology. Even simple issues with the ID40 card and my "B stock" Control:10 have not been resolved in months...I compare this to Sonos' support team and its service that it provides for systems that sell for much, much less. I often reflect that my ID40 card cost more on its own than most people's entire stereo receiver systems.
