Yes look at the US price lists on Duncan's web site. I only see the price list for what current components cost. Are you suggesting that the components I have now originally cost the same as their new counterparts do now?

Replacement Costs are all that matters to the Insurance company
Original Cost, Market Value or the fact that you might have won them in a competition is irrelevant to the Insurance Company
As Carl says, just use the current US Price List.......everything else is irrelevant

A close friend of mine works for a large insurance company.
The golden rule [from him] is to be proactive and supply as much information as possible. Then get them to agree any valuations / replacement costs in writing esp. for high value items.
Youre being honest with them by declaring what you have up front and paying the correct premium for the cover and they should reciprocate. If they don't; go to another insurer that will.
Hope this helps,
Regards, Carl

Slightly off-topic, but here's my UK experience.
We had some stuff stolen about 6 months ago. They took the TV, Blu-ray and some bits but skipped the Meridian (fools).
We have new-for-old insurance. The insurance company preferred to replace the items through their suppliers rather than hand over cash. Where the items still existed they replaced them exactly (or did when challenged anyway). A few things they gave cash for where they couldn't source or were low value and they didn't want the hassle.
The problems were with a cheap PC monitor where I hadn't kept the receipt or manual as proof of ownership. Also the TV model (Sony X series) no longer existed and they wanted to replace with something much lower down the range but with the same basic specs (Freeview, 46", etc.), we eventually negotiated a new set between the two values which I was happy with.
So if the Meridian did get stolen, neither is still in production so they might try their luck with some budget receiver. A strong case could be made for a G61R instead of the G68J, but the G55.... I can see some long argument about how it's more Bryston than Rotel.
Not that Duncan, the other one. No, not that one either. System 1: Onkyo NR-609, Kef Reference Model 1, Kef 200C, Dune D1, Sony BDP-S760, Humax FoxSat HDR System 2: Arcam A28, Spendor SA1, tweaked Asus Essence STX
