I'm a bit surprised that there weren't more Trifield solutions.

Speakers appear to be the most important item in a setup.

If I generalise and say that the following M floor standers can be graded as follows:


5000
5200
5500
7000
6000
7200
8000

Would the following statement hold true?

If starting with the 5Ks and a Squeezebox/Apple TV, the best upgrade from a sound perspective always be a speaker upgrade and that you should only consider moving away from the Sbox/ATV once you've hit the 8K point. (I realise that this is very contrived)
