Maybe this is a bit bizarre, but the hockey puck style feet on the DSP7200 look like they work well on wooden floors.

Does anyone know if I can use them on a pair of DSP6000s and if they can, are then any dealers who could supply a set ?

I wasnt sure whether to post this here or the Restaurant.

Thanks
Greg

Neither here nor there but I use Superspikes and they have a felt pad underneath which glides pretty well over a wooden floor (short distances, eek grit).

These look good, I found somebody in the UK that can supply them (the magic of google).

No doubt these are much more cost effective than the M version !

Thanks

I used them with a pair of DSP5200s and they worked well.

Carl

Sorry to be a pain,

the Wiki used to have an entry for spikes etc but it seems to have gone.

Do I need the M8 version of superspikes for the DSP6000.

Thanks
Greg

Yes Greg, M8. They come up on eBay periodically.

Cool

Thanks for the confirmation.

I was going to use bkelec.com, they sell them for under 40 a set.

In the great scheme of things (especially regarding the general cost of putting together a Meridian system), I didnt think that was too bad. smirk

Greg

The bass of my DSP6k improved significantly after I have used the Superspikes.

My bass also improved, the "flab" left. Some part of me quite likes a little flabby bass, but not the part that posts on HitchHikers, sacreblue!
