The Flaming Lips 'Yoshimi Battles the Robots' is slated for 11/18 release -- this is a great album that really lends itself to multichannel as well. An early review I read was very favorable. Am looking forward to this.

Just got the Sinatra album but haven't heard it yet.

Is the Crowded House disc a DVD-Audio one? I can only find Dreaming - The Videos on DVD-video at Amazon.co.uk - I even tried looking on Amazon.com. Presumably its a 'best of...'?

Thanks

Check www.dvdplanet.com -- they're usually cheaper than anyone else.

'KC is DVD Planet'

Yup, used to buy laserdiscs from them as well -- generally had the best prices around for those too.

rb,

I gave up on them several months ago, when they were having problems with 5 shipments in a row arriving > 1 week late, even though the warehouse was about 300 miles away.

Cheers,

JK,

Are you talking about deep discount or dvdplanet w/the bad service. Never had a problem w/'planet', but am used to delays w/deepdiscount. Am guessing you're talking about them as I think they are IL based. Last time I checked, they didn't carry DVD-A anwyay.

DVD Planet does indeed carry DVD-A, and several months ago, DVD Planet changed over computer systems and distribution (warehouse in the Chicago area serviced me).

I went from every title received a day ahead of "release date" to every title (5x in a row) late by 1 week or more. I cancelled about 10 outstanding preorders with them, and have been using DVD Empire ever since.

I'm glad your experiences have been positive, mine were for 3 years before everything went to (expletive).

Cheers,
