Does anyone know if this possible without using AC12 or Reviver and if yes how much this would cost ?

To-date the word from the Mothership is that there is no cost effective upgrade of DSP speakers' amp packs in order to retrofit Speakerlink.

DSP420 are different from the other speakers as they are inwall and there is no SPDIF inside ?!

DSP420 are different from the other speakers as they are inwall and there is no SPDIF inside ?! There is no Coax phono socket however; SPDIF (the digital audio signal format) is connected to the DSP420 via the connection box Digital Audio In / Ground. (Digital Audio Out / Ground for looping across to the other DSP in the pair). SpeakerLink (AES/EBU) is not compatible with SPDIF without some form of passive converter. It might be that this "connection box" could be swapped out by Meridian to one that is SpeakerLink compatible; you would have to speak to your dealer about it. However, past history suggests that Meridian would sell you one. Regards, Carl

Peter Hi Peter, M HQ in the UK will not speak to you, you must go though a dealer. Or try Phone Meridian in the USA, who still (but not for much longer) will speak to you. However, please note that a "reviver" box would also sort you out for about 100 Euro's from Robert W which is a lot cheaper than an AC12. Regards, Carl
