Meridian seem to have a new snazzy look as exemplified by the new MC600 and 808.3 on display at CES. Black centre with silver pillars.

I kept thinking I had seen it somewhere before and then....

Doesn't look bad though imho compared to the old version. Wonder if it is an option or complete makeover?

I suspect that it is a special option.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks more like black and white than black and silver to me.

As for preferences, it all depends on the rest of the kit, the room, and how much you want to draw attention to it. To be a real extrovert you would need to specify Ferrari red.

I prefer the old style. This white/black looks a bit "Pimp My Ride".
Would match the white 8k's and 72k's though

Yes I think it is black and white.

The 808.3 at CES was a white case with a black face. Can't say I liked the look, but that's just me. Maybe if it had been all white like the photo above is all red. Chacun son got

A face only a mother could love....... The '80's styling isn't doing it for me.

It is quite 80's Boom/bust look-at-my-porsche type styling. Will we be rolling our jacket sleeves up next (a la Don Johnson) ;-)

That's a relief, but I'd rather their energies were directed towards fixing software bugs than dreaming up stuff like that..... I think they need to get their priorities straight.

Good grief. I doubt that the attention of any of the technical staff was diverted to the Meridian Select program. It's an option that several high-end companies offer. If they didn't offer it, people would undoubtedly complain.
