I am just working through Chris Rea's 11 CD/1 DVD Book Set (Blue Guitars)
I have enjoyed it immensly so far. Disc 7 "Blues Ballads" is amazing if you want some smooth chillout music.
I have been loaned the set, and the size of it made me groan at the thought of going through it, but I have been really Impressed.
He takes you on a journey through the History of the Blues from its original roots but with all Original music. Vinyl lovers will love the authentic backround crackle on the early CD's, as you are hearing it in the way it would have been heard on record by those lucky enough to have such access.
The book of comprehensive sleeve notes and original artwork is a joy as well, you wont get all of this on Sooloos however hard you try! You will want to keep that handy for constant referal.

I will have to buy this; Cheers Chris smile
