I realize you did a ton of comparisons and it's by no means questioning or not appreciating the time you spent sharing.

But having ID40 with HS=N is not the same.

As you correctly did I think you are comparing what apodizing is adding. But to help confirm that just a bit further if you set HS=N and still heard a difference then it might suggest it's not the apodizing (or just the apodizing), but something else. With ID40 in there it's a completely different system (IMHO).
