I once had a similar problem. Turned out I had a dodgy analog cable connecting the meter to the G68. Might be worth swapping yours out to eliminate that possible variable.
I thought I might also add that another mistake I've made is using a Meridian digital speaker lead as it seemed conveniently long at the time. This resulted in dreadful signal to noise results.

Still no luck with room correction.
The problem with no sound from the sides is resolved. They were not correctly hooked up. Perhaps the sound during the phase test was from the fronts??? With the sides configured as smalls the bass is shifted to the fronts.
Yes, I am using a tripod. And I am connected to A8R.
I tried .7v sensitivity and it didn't help.
Could it be that I am getting no signal at all from the meter to the G68ADV? I am using a Radio Shack cable with mini plug on one end and RCA on the other. It's new. It's A8 LEFT !!! Also what meter are you using? My RS SPL Meter has RCA. So it's RCA to RCA. If it's mini headphone jack you may not be connecting the correct channel depending on Meter or Cable. Once you think you have it working try unplugging and see if you get the same error.

By George, you've got it! I WAS plugged into left, not right. (So that wasn't the problem.) The cable! To these old eyes in dim light it looked like the mike output was for a mini plug. Nope. It was for an RCA. Changed the microphone cable and...... it works! Now I need to get a longer cable to reach the listening positions.
I have an appointment with my eye surgeon next week. Let's hope things can be further improved all around.
This surely confirms the usefulness of this forum. Thanks, guys (especially George.)
