Off out now to get some new acoustic panels - will come back later to wipe up the coffee that I spat all over my keyboard when I read the immortal phrase "burn-in"....  Funny you should say that .... I'm a skeptic thru and thru and have never subscribed to the notion of 'burn in', however, my experience with the Meridian 861v6 has given me pause. My perception is that the sound quality has improved appreciably over the 8 months I've had this piece. I'm not suggesting it is necessarily 'burn-in', it could just as easily be my getting used to it, or learning to better appreciate the things it does well, but the fact remains that I like it a lot more now than I did in May.
