Probably about a week later my TMA processor died & I decided to move over to Meridian - so all the extra spent on the "SE" version of the Oppo was totally wasted ! Oh well.... crazy

As mentioned elsewhere, I'll be selling my "SE" & exchanging it for a "93" in the new year as I'd like to protect myself for all eventualities by having the dual HDMI outputs & the 3D compatibility.
I will however wait a little until the spec of the "93+" is released, just in case there's anything else useful added - but as I've also a video processor in my kit rack as well as a HD621 then I literally only need a digital transport that's capable of reading the Blu-ray lossless audio formats.

Oh, and as for Oppo "tweakery", the only addition anyone should pay for (unless they absolutely need the version with analogue outputs) is the multi-region hardware hack. Everything else is pure snake-oil, nothing more, nothing less.

Off out now to get some new acoustic panels - will come back later to wipe up the coffee that I spat all over my keyboard when I read the immortal phrase "burn-in".... laugh
