I've got silver - was concerned about the grilles standing out but I'm used to them now.
My room is a living room - so light furnishings - and the silver seems to blend in.
So I suspect black & graphite would be best in darkened rooms but silver in lighter ones.

I'm with Chris on this, we too have a light coloured walls and furnishings. We had a Graphite pair on home demo, and my wife hated them, "big dark monoliths" I think she call them. However, she loved the sound and said that silver was the way to go as they look slimmer. All my M kit is in Silver.
Have you noticed that Meridian tend to put silver DSPs in all their PR shots.
