previews of new products planned for launch in January

From today's Meridian press-release about the Georgia Aquarium "jolly".

Any clues as to what's new...???

I've heard a rumour of yet more Sooloos goodies.

We finally have the G62?

I think I like the form factor.

Ditto the DSP3200s

The DSP3200's look pretty but I hope they're planning on adding a display and IR receptor before it goes into production...

EDIT: oooh.. no tweeter but a 3" full-range on top of a 6.5" woofer? interesting...

Now that's a potentially interesting unit...and what bold styling. It's clearly very small though, the F80 remote sitting on a 500 series unit looks tiny by comparison, where it looks quite sizeable on top of this device . All of which suggests that rear panel space will be limited, so is it a beefed up MPMax221? Will it have room correction, as many have suggested would be a useful in a 2 channel product in the past? More importantly, will it have SPDIF outputs for non SL DSPs?

I'm actually quite excited to find out!

Cheers

George

Just dawned on me...the Core 200 is clearly the natural companion to the 3200s. That's the cute entry level system after the M80. Albeit a $9000 entry level system...

They both look very nice and capture the essence of the Meridian design in a small package. Curious to hear how those speakers sound....

"Long awaited successor to the 562"? Really? A 565/562 combo was my introduction to M processors and they, especially the 562, nearly made me leave the building.
