One has to be careful with the German distributor's pricing. HD621 is much more than in the UK, but on the other hand, Sooloos seems to be pretty much the same price last time I checked. This seems quite conscious: an HD621 is a sure sell to people who have bought into Meridian already and need it for BD or other purposes, so they can fleece us. Whereas Sooloos is something they are pushing hard, so the pricing is more competitive.
