Yikes!!!!

Just realized that the Control 15 and Ensemble etc., have SEPARATE Power Bricks

All that room in the Control 15 chassis and no integrated Power Supply????

There is no room left in a Control:10 for a PSU, also it moves some of the heat away from the main unit. (The PSU runs hot and the Control:10 runs even hotter - would hate to add both together without the noise of a fan)

I understand what you're saying, but there are FAR more powerful computers, with more Powerful Processors and GPU's and these Devices have integrated PSU's, and usually within much thinner and more elegant chassis

Anyway, it is what it is I guess................

Sorry Chris,
but if your F80 had a Separate Power Brick, think about the limitations that would impose on its placement and usability

Likewise, the PSU's are all integrated for all Meridian 500 Series, 800 Series and G Series

So, I don't think Sooloos are leaving the PSU Exrernal for that "PSU Upgrade" reason

I take your point Ronnie, as Meridian would do power supply properly.
Even so, I still have heard talk of people upgradeing in 500 series.
A Faulty power supply sends many an 800 unit back to base, so maybe they dont want Sooloos having these return issues and all the costs involved 3 years down the line whan a new brick can be dispatched quickly if needed.

Cheers Chris smile
