I have said this before in other threads, but it applies here again: taming the bass will open up mids and highs. Default MRC will not tame your bass correctly, manual (fine)tuning is necessary. So before investing any more money I recommend tuning MRC manually. If you wish you may send your MSL file to me and I'll do it for you (providing you did a proper MRC measurement). Just send me a PM.
