Well in that case I assumed no indicator would light up, but I would not assume better quality. My client likes indicators wink
With Meridian you definitely do not want any indicators on the processor to light up, because it means that the lossy core is being decoded instead of the superior lossless version. Decoding should be done in the player and the player output should be set to PCM on HDMI.
