In the UK and I guess other markets you get three years, two years by default and filling in the warrenty card gets you another year.

Meridian have lots of things right but their attitude to customer service and fixing kit is excellent. I had a problem with my 568 that they said they could not find but replaced the part anyway. It certainly worked without the fault when I got it back.
