Ill let you know once we have the dvi portion working. until then I am using the analogue output. I would echo my previous comments- much better than runco's included scaler. You should be aware that Meridian will have a dvi output card for the 800 out to market soon (my hope is before the end of 03) and I think it uses faroudja deinterlacing so you might want to wait for that. I use the nrs for other sources as well. I do plan to get the dvi out card.

Very nicely written article. I especially like how you dont include all kinds of stories of how this or that aunt or uncle or friends do things and then inject low-brow humor as many a/v writers seem to do. I thought the video section could use more flushing out (eg- how did the 480p into a fixed pannel look compared to the native processing and then using his dvp-3000). But it was good as well.
