I dug this out of my collection yesterday and haven't played it for years. My abiding memory before playing this was of an album that was fairly badly mastered. So why the recommendation? Well, in the interevning years, my HiFi has been improved and it really has made a difference - the "murk" I remember wasn't there at all.

What you have is a fairly simple recording of a lineup of 4 players: organist, electric pianist, bassist / vocalist and drummer. Although this is not a great 'audiophile' recording, it has bags of atmosphere and detail - enough to give you the 'in the studio with them' feel.

As for the music, well, typical 1970 rock (some might call it prog), keyboard driven. really a less intense version of their Charisma stablemates Van der Graaf Generator. Well worth a punt for �4 if you like music from that era.
