Hi Simon,
The initial engraving is very fast indeed, however having watched the samples being engraved the set up process is quite time consuming. I didn't realize how involved it was and the process is rather fiddly.
The first batch was around 60 buttons.

Yes, I'd imagine so given the relatively tiny size of the buttons. I had tried to do a while back myself with an engraving tool I used to use to mark stereo components - but I quickly realized they were going to look like crap and I was just going to end up ruining all my blanks.

This is the shot that you posted previously with the "prototype" engraving (slighly too bold and a little low on each button).
Do you have some shots of more recently engraved buttons?

The “VK” key amused me, I wonder what he will use it for? Not mine (which is kinda worrying!), but I'd be tempted to use it to infect the Mothership with a healthy dose of customer awareness...

when asked to do the apple logo i thought what else could the engraver find on the net and vk's logo does stick out.
i hope the buttons look better.
ps joel i think you use the pronto so youre in no need of these buttons

Piccies of buttons as promised Wow, they look GREAT!!!! How nice it will be to be able to get rid of all the tacky stickers that currently adorn my MSR source buttons.
