Just seen ‘Robin Hood`, not bad but I felt there was something missing.

Would like to see it again to clarify but first thoughts - the sound track - can`t even remember any of it. Certainly nowhere near ‘Kingdom of Heaven`
I also felt that Maid Marion was too old and the accents were all over the place. Very off putting if one comes from Yorkshire. I am surprised at Ridey Scott given where he comes from.

Don`t get we wrong it is worth watching - just not as good as I thought it might have been.

As I said not a patch on Kingdom of Heaven.

Regarding 3D

I haven`t seen a 3D film only a flat panel demo and I must say I wasn`t impressed. Would films like Robin Hood, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator or Black Hawk Down have been improved - don`t think so.

No offence but unlike Cliff I do not think it will take off. Would ‘The Shining` have benefited? Don`t think so. If all films are not released in 3D ones 3D collection would take a long time to grow and people would soon get fed up of watching the same 3D films. Is it Avatar or Alice in Wonderland tonight!

Blu-ray is slow to take off. I have been in HMV when people have bought the wrong type of DVD. Most of my friends still have SD DVD`s without adding 3D to the mix.
