You are correct the G68ADV has never had balanced output and I agree with this.
However, as the G68ADV is not listed by M anymore and Joes said he had bought a "new G68" (not a new G68ADV) I took this as the NEW G68 as currently listed on M price list as just "G68" (with SpeakerLink and balanced outputs).

What I think Joes has done is bought a new (ie. not used) G68ADV from dealer stock (not from Meridian factory) as they don't make / sell this model any more.

But enough of this speculation, it's well past beer time
