Carl, I have an old analog SPL meter from "Radio Shack". I dont remeber if it has RCA inputs or outputs. I beleive its a hand held. Is there an SPL meter that accepts RCA Analogue cables?

Thanks

Jose

That "OLD" "Radio Shack" meter has RCA input.

There is how bunch of stuff you can read in the wiki, on cables needed for MConfig, Room Correction and more.

Wow !!! I never realized how custom custom a processor can get. I got a headache just by looking at all the notes. I guess I'll have to rake vacation days for the set up.

Thanks

Jose

You cannot describe Meridian gear as "plug and play". grin

No it's plug, plug, plug, curse, play, play, plug, plug, plug then listen.

No wonder it sounds so good once it's working smile

I swear that is factor in some folks initial impression when they add a new box.

Then they consider "A/B" ing say, yeah right, I'm not touching anything it works and sounds great. It has to, it cost a fortune and I worked my butt off figuring it out.

1hr warm up should be fine (in my opinion).

Doubt it needs break-in (even if such a thing was needed) since they have not been sold in a while?

Hi Jim,

Cool.

I thought you might have gone down a different route as you asked about the "Break-In" time for G68ADV which is not a current model any more.

A new G68, a good piece of kit as it has both balanced analogue and SpeakerLink if/when you switch to DSPs.

Enjoy, you new kit. Do that use all know how you get on with it.

Regards,
Carl

Carl, G68ADV does not have balanced. Only the "XX" models.

Hi Everyone, I started to use the Mconfig to configure my G68ADV. I dropped in the G68 ADV and a pop window comes up asking "does the inserted G68 have USB Audio input ? (in addition to the USB maintenance port). I do not know how to answer this question, Yes or No.

Thanks

Jose
