As some v6 are out now and some days are gone, I like to know the experiences from the users. Please tell which setup you have -digital or analog-and what is different to v4. Also the expereineces from owners that allready posted it are welcome. Have something changed to the first expression, still the same?
Thanks
Robert

Leave address, keys, some drink and pizza and upon your return it will be setup. Dont worry about the test drive of the auto.

Definitely a few frustrated owners to be are here. There have been several posts of folks receiving units but not being able to set them up while others of us are still waiting for ours to ship. My order was placed shortly after the announcement and I was told that there were 30 ahead of me in the queue. There can't be but a handful of these out in the wild.

Had a chance to start setup of the unit last night, and initially quite impressed. Sounded good even though not calibrated nor room corrected.
I do have a staggaringly dumb question, however. What exactly do the various settings for the trigger outputs mean? Choices are high, low and last valid. I've always assumed that high versus low is simply a different amount of current from the triggers? Curious that when I set the triggers to high, they are active even when the unit is off. Don't recall this before.

I posted extensively in the "When are the v6's shipping" thread.
The v6 is a marked sonic improvement over the v4.

Yes.
v6 is markedly better than v4
Only thing I (still) don't like is that, just as with v4, the new units audibly "click" when the surround mode changes (sounds like a relay inside the unit.)

I believe it is a relay and if I remember correctly Meridian had stated in the past that they use high quality ones and they do click.
