I hope Meridian see this as a positive thing for them...... This is the kind of product I would love to sit at home with on my sofa and just search out my music, press, play and enjoy.

I think this would help Meridian sell more Sooloos products if they focus on Storage and a screen-less control/ripping unit. This way consumers can have much more flexibility with their home installations. You could fit a screen in 5 different rooms for a fraction of the cost on just one Control:10 unit.

Personally I don't care about waiting a couple of seconds for the track/album to start playing through an app. The screen is just giving a command to the control anyway. This way we could spend our cash on a product that is 100% focussed on exceeding 808.3 audio quality.
