I think those pictures are the interface for playing music stored on the iPad itself.
I'm sure the remote app will be similar. On the iPod/Phone the remote app is practically the same as the music playback interface.
No doubt Apple is onto another winner, making all other ebook readers and netbooks look like props from Blakes Seven.
